A man has been sent to jail by a court for smoking cigarettes and misbehaving on an Air India flight. Please say that the court imposed a fine of Rs.25,000. of the accused but the accused was adamant to deposit only Rs.250. Whereupon the court sent the accused to prison. The accused has been identified as Ratnakar Dwivedi, who is accused of smoking a cigarette and misbehaving on an Air India London-Mumbai flight.
The accused is adamant to pay a fine of 250 rubles!
Against the reported, the police filed a report under Article 336 of the Criminal Code. When the accused was brought before the court, the court imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on him. On this, the accused told the court that he had read on the internet that a fine of Rs 250 was imposed under Section 336 of the CrPC. In such a situation, the accused offered to pay a fine of 250 R., but the court refused it and sent the accused to prison.
