Union Home Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Amit Shah reached Kerala on Sunday on a day-long visit. The Home Minister will also attend a meeting of office-bearers of the BJP’s Thrissur parliamentary constituency here. He will also visit the Vadakumnathan Temple in Thrissur.

Addressing a public meeting in Thrissur, Shah said, Congress leader said they will dig the grave of our beloved leader PM Modi. I want to tell Rahul Gandhi that the more you try to defame him, the more the lotus will bloom in the country.

He said the people of Kerala had given the Congress and the Communists a chance to rule the state for a long time. The world rejected the Communists and the country rejected the Congress Party.

Shah said, Communists and Congress are fighting each other in Kerala. However, in the Tripura elections, the Communists and the Congress entered into an alliance with each other. He contested against the BJP in Tripura. But people of Tripura supported BJP.

The Union Home Minister said that phase 1 of the Kochi Metro has been inaugurated and Rs 1950 crore has been allocated for the second phase. 773 crores have been spent on the two smart cities. In addition, Rs 55,000 crore has been sanctioned for national highways.

He said that PFI has been completely banned by the Modi government. Thus helping to rid Kerala of PFI violence. Neither the Congress nor the Communists welcomed this move.

He further said, Kerala’s public debt has crossed Rs 3.40 lakh crore. The Finance Minister of Kerala has admitted that the state is facing a financial crisis. But the government is busy placing cadres in important posts.
