Jaipur. Women and Child Development Minister Mamta Bhupesh said the gender ratio has improved in the state due to the efforts of Anganwadi workers. He besieged the central government for increasing the fee of Anganwadi workers and new Anganwadi centers in the assembly and said that Delhi is not getting its share, BJP MPs should come forward to cooperate with the state government to get this money. He was speaking on Monday while responding to a debate on the Women and Child Development Department’s grant request. Earlier, Minister of State for Tribal Areas Development Arjun Bamnia also answered questions related to his department. In the middle of the reply, Speaker Rajendra Parikh had to warn the opposition that if anyone interrupted, his statement would be removed from the debate. Gyanchand Parakh said in the debate that this government will not be there next year, to which women and child development minister Bhupesh sarcastically said that his career is not a lotus flower that will wither, he is a servant of the people, he will meet next year. He also thanked Vidhansabha President CP Joshi for holding a discussion on his department’s grant applications for the first time. He said that the sex ratio in the state has become 947 and in the coming period the number of girls will be more than boys. 2 million 4 thousand 603 girls who dropped out of school during Corona were re-attached to schools. The state government has increased the remuneration of Anganwadi workers by 45 percent.
