Azfar Rehman withdraws from Hum Awards in solidarity with flood victims. the actor Azfar Rahman has withdrawn from the 2022 Hum Awards in Canada in solidarity with flood victims in Pakistan.
She announced the news in an Instagram post on Friday morning.
He said he withdrew “by choice regarding the required event”.
“Sorry to disappoint my fans in Toronto Canada, I will not be attending the Hum Awards this year even though I am nominated in the Best Actor in a Negative Role category. I stand in solidarity with my brothers and sisters in the floods. I request the authorities at the awards to please donate my ticket and keep the money for flood relief,” he wrote, adding the hashtag Pakistan Zindabad.

Her post was praised by several celebrities including Areba Habib, Ayesha Omar, Mehwish Hayat, Nadia Afghan, Ali Kazmi, Sadaf Kanwal and Shagufta Ejaz.
His announcement came hours after PPP leader Sharmila Farooqui invited celebrities to attend an award show in Canada. He slammed celebrities for going to Toronto for the show instead of meeting flood victims.
