Mumbai : Mumbai BJP in-charge MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar said here on Friday that the BJP will demand an accounting of the corruption of Rs. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis clarified that after coming to power after 25 years of corruption in the Municipal Corporation, we will run the administration in a transparent manner.

Mumbai BJP organized a two-day meeting in Uttar to prepare for the upcoming municipal elections. It was attended by National Joint General Secretary Shiv Prakash, Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis, Mumbai President MLA Ashish Shelar, In-charge Bhatkhalkar, all three BJP MPs from Mumbai, all MLAs, district president and office bearers. The BJP has started building a strong front to wrest the power from the Shiv Sena in the municipal corporation and all the party leaders in Mumbai have started working.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is keeping a close eye on the election preparations and necessary instructions are being given to the concerned and care is being taken to ensure that the BJP does not suffer from intra-party differences. BJP’s manifesto is being prepared for the elections. Discussions were held in the meeting regarding what promises to give to Mumbaikars, what new projects to announce. Bhatkhalkar said that the charge sheet will be filed to target the Shiv Sena and the 25 years of corrupt governance in the municipal corporation will be revealed to the public.
