Army Chief of Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the flood-affected areas of Badin district in Sindh on Friday.
The army chief spent time with flood-affected people in emergency and medical camps.
Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa also met with army troops participating in rescue and relief activities in the Malkani Sharif area of Badin district.
Later COAS was flown for aerial photographs of flood-affected areas of Badin and the surrounding area.
The army chief also had contact with business people in Karachi.
He said that business has always helped the people of Pakistan in various natural disasters.
The businessmen acknowledged the role and sacrifice the military has made for the sake of the motherland and assured COAS of their full support for the flood survivors.
