Lahore: (Web Desk) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf senior leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhary has warned IG Punjab and CCPO Lahore of the consequences of following the illegal orders of the government.
Reacting to the implementation of Section 144 in Lahore, Fawad Chaudhary said that there is no legal justification for the implementation of Section 144 after the announcement of the election schedule, no notification has been given, nor has the Cabinet approved the implementation of Section 144, a puppet. Supervisors have appealed to Punjab. and the Central Election Commission against the completely illegal action of the government.
He said that election time is nearing, they will hold a completely peaceful rally as per scheduled programme, IG Punjab and CCPO Lahore are ready to answer for any illegal order against fundamental constitutional and electoral rights.
Fawad Chaudhary said he was raising the issue in the High Court, he would not allow breaking the law to become the rule.
