Lahore: In the 30th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 8, Karachi Kings beat Lahore Qalandar by 86 runs. Muhammad Akhlaq played the highest innings for Karachi Kings with 51 runs, Imad Wasim scored 45 runs. Among the other players, Tayab Tahir scored 40, Ben Cutting 33 and James Fuller played 10 runs.Lahore Qalandars bowlers Zaman Khan, Haris Rauf and Hussain Talat took 2 wickets each while Dilbar Hussain dismissed one man. In the counter innings, the Lahore Qalandar team was all out for 110 runs. Hussain Talat scored 25 and Haris Rauf scored 18 runs from Lahore Qalandars, Imad Wasim, Akif Javed, Mohammad Umar and Imran Tahir from Kings took 2 and 2 wickets respectively.

Karachi Kings first wicket fell at a total of 9 runs when Hyder Ali was run out after scoring 8 runs. In the second wicket partnership, a 70-run partnership was formed between Mohammad Akhlaq and Tayyab Tahir. Mohammad Akhlaq scored 51 runs and Tayab Tahir came out with 40 runs, Captain Imad Wasim played an innings of 45 runs, Ben Cutting scored 33rd run. James Fowler scored 10 runs.

Haris Rauf, Zaman Khan and Hussain Talat of Lahore Qalandars took 2 wickets each while Dilbar Hussain took 1 wicket.

Lahore have already qualified for the playoffs. So captain Shaheen Afridi was rested for today’s match. David Weiss led the defending champions in Pacer’s absence.
