ISLAMABAD: Federal Commerce Minister Syed Naveed Qamar said on Wednesday that Pakistan values ​​its relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in various potential areas.
He said that there is a lot of potential in agriculture, health, readymade garments and solar sector.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Saleem Al Zabi called on Commerce Minister Syed Naveed Qamar to discuss measures to promote bilateral trade and enhance mutual cooperation in corporate sectors, a press statement issued here said. met
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said that Pakistan’s relations with the United Arab Emirates are built on a strong foundation based on mutual love and respect.
Syed Naveed Qamar appealed to increase the exchange of business delegations between the two countries which will strengthen trade and economic relations.
UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid said that the Pakistani business community has been playing an important role in the UAE’s economy and development for years, although it is ready to enrich them through comprehensive bilateral agreements.
Appreciating the government’s policies, the UAE ambassador said that for the first time it can be seen that the government, especially Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, is “eager to do something while establishing relations at the global level”.
Expressing deep concern and sympathy with the people of the flood-affected areas, he assured full assistance from the UAE government and said that he is with the Pakistani brothers in this hour of sorrow. – App
