In continuation of the humanitarian aid to the people affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the first Pakistani sea cargo has reached Syria.
The cargo sent via the Pakistan Navy Ship-NASR on the 28th of last month was received at a special ceremony attended by the Syrian Navy High Command, government officials and Pakistan’s ambassador to Syria, retired Air Marshal Shahid Akhtar.
On the occasion, people sang hymns to express gratitude to the Pakistani nation.
The shipment contains blankets, generators, dry meals, medicine and clothing for earthquake-hit Syria. After unloading the aid in Syria, the ship will move to Turkey.
