Kishanganj: The police are on the brink of a robbery. Bihar Five lakh rupees were stolen from a person at Dagarua in Purnia on Wednesday afternoon. The police chased the robbers and within half an hour nabbed the two criminals with Rs 4 lakh 55,000 stolen from National Highway 31. Police also seized a bike and two mobile phones. Purnia Superintendent of Police Daya Shankar told reporters on Thursday that Rs 4 lakh 55 thousand have been recovered from the looted Rs 5 lakh. On this day, the arrested persons were sent to Purnia Central Jail under 14 days judicial custody as per order of Purnia Court.
