Web Desk: Due to PTI’s long march, emergency has been imposed in all hospitals in Rawalpindi.

According to details, in view of the long march of Tehreek-e-Insaf, an emergency has been declared in all major hospitals in Rawalpindi, an emergency alert has been issued to Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, following which scheduled operations have been postponed in all the four hospitals. while all surgeons On canceling the leave of the doctors and staff are instructed to report for duty in any case.

It has been decided by the management that the operating theaters of the hospitals will be used for emergencies. The capacity of the beds in the emergency room has been increased, and the blood bank has collected medicines, essential equipment, blood from all groups. The measures to ensure the availability of ambulances in all four hospitals have been completed.

Benazir Bhutto General Hospital, Holy Family Hospital will remain on emergency alert while District Headquarters Hospital, Institute of Urology will also be on emergency alert.

The officer’s ward of Benazir Bhutto General Hospital has been vacated, the doctors and staff residing in the hospitals have been shifted to temporary accommodation, while the central oxygen system has been ensured to be fully functional and the availability of bottled oxygen.
