The RJD has threatened legal action against the media for “erroneously” reporting that Yadav, the party supremo’s son and heir apparent, owns the commercial institution.
“The BJP government (at the Centre) is again spreading rumours, quoting sources. He should have asked his spin doctors to first settle the bill for the previous surgeries, before coming up with the new story of Rs 600 crore,” Yadav said.
The ED on Saturday said it has seized “undisclosed cash” of Rs 1 crore and “found proceeds of crime worth Rs 600 crore” after raiding RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s family in connection with a money laundering case related to railway land for- ” fraud’ in the workplaces.
