Police and agencies deputed to ensure Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security in Mandya removed the T-shirt from a boy who had come to attend a public rally on Sunday.
The boy was wearing a black T-shirt and came to attend the rally with his mother. The police stopped him and asked his mother to remove his t-shirt because it was black.
The mother took it out and took her topless son to the premises where the gathering was planned. The mother put her boyfriend’s shirt back on after going through the metal detectors. But the police officers ran up to her and told her that due to protocols they could not let the boy in the black T-shirt inside.
The mother had to take off her son’s black T-shirt again and brought him inside topless. The police maintained that they could not risk the protocols.
