The warrant for the arrest of Imran Khan was acted upon by the provincial cabinet, which decided to approve the arrest.
According to sources in the Ministry of Home Affairs, the provincial cabinet headed by Chief Minister Punjab is reviewing the aspects of the arrest.
The provincial cabinet meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Punjab, IG Punjab and Additional Chief Minister Home along with relevant officials.
After the permission of the provincial cabinet, the registrar will allow the arrest, after getting the permission from the registrar, the arrest of Imran Khan was carried out.
