Speaking at the UNSC meeting, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said that the fight against injustice is vital to a comprehensive effort to achieve peace and justice. The Security Council should give a clear message in this regard. Politics should never be used to avoid responsibility.

During this, Jaishankar clearly took a jibe at China for taking a soft stance on the terrorists. Without naming China, Jaishankar said that politics should not be done in the direction of taking action against terrorists. Let us tell you that recently China vetoed the proposal of India and America to ban Pak terrorist Sajid Mir.

In the UNSC briefing on Ukraine, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar said that the Russo-Ukraine war will be resolved through dialogue. He said India strongly reiterates the need for an immediate end to all hostilities and a return to dialogue and diplomacy. Clearly, as Prime Minister Modi has emphasized, this cannot be an era of war.
