According to market sources, after the price hike, wheat started selling at Rs 4,200 to Rs 4,600 per pound due to which mill owners started selling the flour at Rs 150 per kg.
According to market sources, a 15 kg bag of commercial flour has become Rs 1,800 in shops, while the flour is out of stock in many shops in the city. On the other hand, chicken meat is also sold at Rs 540 per kg in Lahore. .
