In the woman judge Zeba Chaudhry threat case, the civil judge directed to reject Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan’s request for exemption from attendance today.
On behalf of Imran Khan’s lawyer, Naeem Panjuta, a request was made to the District Sessions Court to exempt Imran Khan from his presence on security grounds.
Civil Judge Ranamjahid Rahim said that if Imran Khan did not come today, he would issue a warrant.
The judge said that if Imran Khan did not appear during court hours, he would issue a non-bailable arrest warrant. The court adjourned the hearing until 12:30 p.m.
Later, the civil judge said he was rejecting Imran Khan’s plea for exemption from attendance today.
