ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) Pakistan Army has opened the snow-covered Barzal Pass to the public.
Be it natural calamities or sudden accidents, whenever the nation needs the armed forces to be first on the scene, the Pakistan Army’s opening of the snow-covered Barzal Pass is a link in that chain.
Barzal pass is located 178 km from Gilgit, it is an important check point for both Pak army and people, the height of this place is 13808 feet above sea level which is covered with snow from October to April.
This is the only route available for about 61 villages and a population of 15,000 in the area. The Barzal Pass receives 50,000 to 60,000 vehicles every year, and this year the pass was closed for January and February.
The snow covered Barzal pass is now open to the public by the Pakistan Army. The Pakistan Army soldiers have been working tirelessly round the clock to open the pass. He has also done his job well.
Due to this good initiative the people of the area thanked the Pakistan Army, this effort of the Pakistan Army is worth writing in golden letters which can never be forgotten.
